What is the Catalog?
The catalog is the complete database of all coins and banknotes available in our system. Here you can explore, search and discover numismatic pieces from different countries and eras.
Basic navigation
Access the Catalog
- From the main menu: Numis → Catalog
- From the home page: button "Explore the catalog"
- Direct URL:

Available Views
- Grid View: Shows elements as cards with large images
- List View: Shows elements in compact table format
- Change view with the buttons y
Search Filters
Available Filters
- General Search: You can search for any term in country, denomination, issue or series
- Country: Filter by specific country
- Type: Coin, Banknote, Medal
- Denomination: Face value of the piece
- Year: Year range (from - to)
- Rarity: Scarcity level (R, RR, RRR, RRRR, RRRRR)
Search Tips
- Use specific terms for better results
- Combine multiple filters for greater precision
- The "Clear" button resets all filters
- Filters are maintained when changing views

Basic Data
- Country: Country of origin
- Type: Coin/Banknote/Medal
- Denomination: Face value
- Year: Year of issue
- Rarity: Scarcity level
For Banknotes
- Full Date: Year/Month/Day
- Series: Issue series
- Issue: Additional information

- Issue: Quantity issued
- Variant: Known variations
- Notes: Special information

Rarity Levels
- R - Common: Common and easily found pieces
- RR - Scarce: Pieces with limited availability
- RRR - Rare: Pieces difficult to find
- RRRR - Very Rare: Between 5 to 25 known specimens
- RRRRR - Extremely Rare: Less than 5 known specimens
Note:: RRRR and RRRRR levels are based on specimens known and catalogued worldwide. These classifications may be updated as new specimens are discovered.
